But what of those a step or two down the ladder? Are they being ignored? But they are seeing the gift to the next level up and are slightly tempted to pass more dealings your way next year and aim for the next level. It may sound daft, but it is the human mind.

This works particularly well within the business to business sector, where the contact you are dealing with may well be spending the company’s money, not their own. You are encouraging them to come and buy from you, rather than your competition. Will they really worry if the price is a touch more, when it is not their money that is being spent and there is a chance of much better gifts next Christmas!
